New Word Services began as a group of proof-readers, sub-editors and copy-writers who had been working for publications locally in Australia and abroad in Asia before banding together and forming their own editing service.

Coming from a varied mix of specialties with vast experience working in the publishing industry, the team at New Word realised that the best way to bring an accomplished editing service to the world was to do so from under the banner of an online company. Hence New Word Services was born.

While we do not, as some websites claim, all have PhDs, we have university degrees, some postgraduate, in a variety of fields, many of them English based. Most importantly, we have real-world experience in editing and proofreading which we have been putting to practical use for a number of years.
